Pork, Pumpkin and Feta Sausages – Well Hung Butchers
While in Auckland judging at the Great NZ Sausage Awards, visited a few butcher’s shops to purchase some snarlers. One of my ports of call was Well Hung Butchers in Milford. I purchased some pork, pumpkin and feta sausages. These were cooked in Wellington upon my return home.
These are bigger than average pork sausages – as the butcher said as he sold these to me “We make larger than average sausages due to the name of our business.” They are a medium grind. The flavour of pumpkin and feta is subdued, the dominant flavour is pork. These sausages are gluten free.
These sausages will appeal to the masses. A quality pork sausage from Well Hung Butchers.
